Running High Above Lake Tahoe!
The 165 mile Tahoe Rim Trail circles one of the most beautiful lakes in the world - Lake Tahoe. It winds through Aspen meadows, skirts high mountain peaks and runs for miles along ridgetops with stunning views. On this Tahoe Rim tour we explore the eminently beautiful Northeast and East side of the trail with tremendous panoramic views, Mt. Rose, Marlette Lake, and spectacular boulders and rock outcroppings. Some of the most stunning views from the Tahoe Rim trail can be found on this section, including the Flume Trail, which may be one of the more spectacular segments of trail anywhere. We'll stay in comfortable summer homes and condominiums along the way with shuttle transport to and from the trailhead each day. The trail is well developed and very runnable in most sections. In fact, much of the segment of the Tahoe Rim Trail we run, is some of the most fun trail running you'll experience anywhere! You won't soon forget the beautiful blue lake you'll run high above on this tour
"Our Lake Tahoe trip turned out to be just what we were looking for. Great trails, wonderful scenery, terrific guides, comfortable and convenient lodging, ample and tasty food, and fine companionship. I will certainly be booking future trips with Adventure Running!"
